A service of Hope and Remembrance.
DATE: Thursday, December 21
TIME: 7:00 PM
The holidays can be a sad time for many. Dealing with the death of a loved one, facing life after divorce, coping with the loss of a job, living with cancer or some other disease that puts a question mark over the future, and a number of other human situations make parties and joviality painful for many people in our congregation and community.
Those looking for comfort, wholeness, and renewal are invited to St. Stephen’s Blue Christmas Service. Our worship will be a time of quiet reflection, meaningful words and music designed to help each us to feel God’s presence with us – Emmanuel. We will gather in candlelight, hear and reflect on God’s word, and share Holy Eucharist all while receiving healing and nourishment through the music of St. Stephen’s Jazz Combo.
The service is offering by the Prayer team to anyone in need of a light in the darkness this season.
