Each year St. Stephen’s offers a festival service filled with the timeless lessons of Christmas, glorious seasonal music, and an opportunity to pause in the busy time of Advent for moments of reflection.
This inspiring Anglican tradition features lessons, each followed by a carol or other song that reflects on the lesson’s message, and brief prayer. The lessons trace the journey of humanity’s relationship with God through history. Lessons are read by different members of the parish and music is presented by the Creekside Ringers Bell Choir and the St. Stephen’s Parish Choir.
A festive reception follows in the Gathering Space featuring seasonal goodies, wassail and other beverages.
This wonderful event is free and open to all.
