Care

Pastoral Care. If you are in need of pastoral care from a member of the clergy, please contact the church office at office@ststephens.com or give us a call at 952-920-0595.

Healing Ministry. The mission of the Healing Ministry is to support, through prayer, those who are sick or are facing life crises as well as those who love and care for them. This ministry takes place during the administration of Holy Communion at the 9 a.m., 11 a.m., and 5 p.m. services each Sunday.

Yarn Ministry. The mission of the Yarn Ministry is to create baby blankets and prayer shawls to be given to parishioners or friends who are grieving, ill, or simply find themselves in need of “hugs from God.” Click here for more information and a list of the ways that you can become involved with this ministry.

Eucharistic Visitors. The mission of the Eucharistic Visitors is to bring Holy Communion to members of the congregation who are unable to attend church regularly on Sunday. Eucharistic Visitors are licensed by the Episcopal Church in Minnesota and receive training through a one-day program of instruction.

Prayer Chain. The mission of the Prayer Chain is to participate in intercessory prayers for members and friends of our congregation. To add names to St. Stephen’s prayer chain click here or speak to one of the clergy.  Because of confidentiality concerns, when requesting prayers be sure you have permission to use the person’s full name in connection with the prayer request.  If you do not have this permission  then only the first name should be included.  Requests will remain on the prayer chain for 60 days and then removed unless another request is received.  Updates can be made to shorten the time a person remains on the prayer chain contacting the office.  St. Stephen’s has 35 members of the parish who receive the prayer chain every other week and have agreed to offer pray for those who appear on the list
