NURSERY CARE
Sundays, 8:00 AM – 12:15 PM and Wednesdays, 6:00-8:30 PM | Birth-Age 3

Our professionally staffed nursery provides a safe and nurturing environment where you can confidently leave your child to enjoy Sunday morning or Wednesday evening fellowship, worship, and spiritual formation opportunities. Learn more here.
CHILDREN'S CHAPEL
Sundays 9:00 & 11:15 AM | Potty-trained 3 yr. olds – Grade 2 | Chapel

Worship that’s perfect for kids! In Children’s Chapel, we develop a routine of worship that is age-appropriate and fun. The routine includes gathering, learning the seasons of the church year, prayer, singing, and engaging with the same scripture that is heard in the big church. Children may be dropped off in the Chapel prior to worship. They will rejoin their families at The Peace in time to share in Holy Communion.
GOD SQUADS
Sundays 10:15 – 11:05 AM
Age Group 1: Potty-trained 3 yr. olds – Grade 2 | St. Nicholas Room
Age Group 2: Grades 3-5 | St. Francis Room

God Squad is a community for kids to make friends in their age groups and engage with Sunday’s bible stories through storytelling, art, games, music, and science! It is through scripture that we get to know one another, God, and ourselves more fully.
GRACE NOTES CHOIR
Wednesdays, 6:30-7:00 PM | Potty-trained 3 yr. olds – Grade 2 | Chapel

Designed for children to have fun while developing a love for music, Grace Note kids learn how to read music and sing with others. The children learn songs they will share during worship services throughout the church year.
KID'S CHOIR
Wed 6:30-7:00 PM | Grades 2-5 | Nave

Kids in grades 2 through 5 enjoy a music curriculum that includes elements of music theory, note reading, and harmony singing for a fun and challenging experience! Kids perform at worship and special music presentation opportunities throughout the year.
QUEST
Wed 7:00 – 7:30 PM | Grades K – 5 | St. Francis Room

This year we will quest through Jesus’ life, engaging with many stories from his life through the resurrection. We will build community with others as we learn more about who Jesus is and how we are meant to follow his example to live a life of love. We will do this with a little bit of prayer and a whole lot of fun!
PRISM
Wednesdays, 6:30 – 8:00 PM | Grades 6 & 7 | St. Ignatius Youth Room

One small step… one big leap into Youth Group! 6th & 7th Graders gather on Wednesdays following the Community Dinner for a time to build friendships through community service and spiritual exploration. We tackle some tough questions but we have lots of fun while we do it!
CONFIRMATION
Wednesdays, 6:30 – 8:00 PM | Grades 8 & 9 | St. Felicity & St. Perpetua Rooms
Confirmation at St. Stephen’s is about so much more than making the decision to become a confirmed member of the Episcopal Church… it is a spiritual journey. And each journey has a story. This year, we will be exploring not only the tradition, Scripture, and reasoning that makes up our faith but also where your own spiritual life fits into God’s unfolding plan. We’ll focus on the question, “what’s your story?” as we explore how God shows up in the most unexpected of ways. We also leave plenty of room for service and fellowship opportunities. Our 8th & 9th graders meet in distinct groups allowing for deeper conversations and friendships as the grade travels together.
SPECTRUM
Sundays, 5:30-7:00 PM | Grades 10-12 | St. Ignatius Youth Room

Spectrum is specially designed for our high school students to explore the deep questions of their faith, to serve the metro community, to discover their spiritual gifts, and create lasting friendships. Sunday evenings are a time to gear up for the week ahead and be rejuvenated by our peers and mentors. Moreover, Spectrum is a place to equip our young people with the tools necessary for a life-long spiritual journey with Christ.

Volunteers

Volunteers are the heart of our Children’s & Youth Ministries. There are MANY opportunities in our programs for all types of volunteers. We need administrative assistance, caring adults to work in our nursery and in all programs, as well as adults to help with special events throughout the year. There’s an opportunity for YOU no matter what day of the week or how frequently you are available.
