Safe Church Practices

CONTACT: Rev. Lisa Wiens Heinsohn

St. Stephen’s cares deeply about the safety of the children and families we serve. We follow the Episcopal Church in Minnesota (ECMN) Safe Church Policies and Procedures for the protection, safety, and well-being of children and adults involved in the life and ministries of our congregation. The intention of these policies and procedures is to establish and maintain a safe place for all our parishioners.

These practices include education and training requirements, as well as background checks, for all staff and volunteers prior to working with children, youth or on pastoral care teams in our parish.
