At St. Stephen’s we are called to tend to each other in times of trial and joy – there are many opportunities to serve in this capacity.  In addition to the pastoral care provided by our clergy, parishioners play a critical role in supporting each other in large and small ways.

Prayer is an active and vital part of parish life. The Prayer Chain is a team of parishioners dedicated to activating the healing power of prayer through participating in intercessory prayers for members and friends of our congregation.

A lay pastoral care ministry centered on shared presence, active listening, and a caring and non-judgmental attitude. Our volunteers are supported through training in this deeply personal and meaningful ministry.

Eucharistic Visitors

Receiving Holy Communion is a vital part of life at St. Stephen's. Eucharist Visitors are commissioned volunteers who visit fellow parishioners unable to attend regular worship services.
