Community Dinners provide our parishioners a chance to gather in small in-home groups for an informal evening of dining and conversation.  Groups of six to eight people are assigned to each host location. This is a great way for you to get to know the folks you may otherwise see only in the pews on Sunday.

SPECIAL EVENTS

Special events occur on a regular basis at St. Stephen’s. Some of these events are annual traditions and other pop-up for unexpected fun! Check out the Special Events page for the latest updates. Below you can find out more about our annual social gatherings.

20160704-HZ4A1302Fourth of July on the Lawn is an opportunity for St. Stephen’s members to gather in celebration of our nation, while enjoying the Edina parade as it passes by that morning. Hot dogs, lemonade, popsicles, and fun are all provided on our front lawn at 50th Street and Wooddale Avenue.

Welcome Back Picnic and Pig Roast takes place in September and is a great way to gather at the kick-off of the fall season at St. Stephen’s.

Our Fish Fry and Bingo night is an AWESOME way to chase away the winder blues each March. We do it old school with a deliciously prepared fish dinner and animated bingo calling.

Bash After Dark happens each fall and is St. Stephen’s party to celebrate and raise money for our outreach endeavors in the community. The ever popular, ever fabulous Bash After Dark includes great food, wine and beer, and fun with fellow parishioners. Guests can bid on wonderful items and experiences in the silent and live auctions while supporting the work we do to share God’s love outside our walls.

Advent Wreath Making is an annual family favorite. Families of St. Stephen’s come together every year to make this a fun tradition. Create an advent wreath that you can take home with you and enjoy together during the week leading up to Christmas.
