At St. Stephen’s we are called to tend to each other in times of trial and joy – there are many opportunities to serve in this capacity. In addition to the pastoral care provided by our clergy, parishioners play a critical role in supporting each other in large and small ways.
Receiving Holy Communion is a vital part of life at St. Stephen's. Eucharist Visitors are commissioned volunteers who visit fellow parishioners unable to attend regular worship services.
A lay pastoral care ministry centered on shared presence, active listening, and a caring and non-judgmental attitude. Our volunteers are supported through training in this deeply personal and meaningful ministry.
Prayer is an active and vital part of parish life. The Prayer Chain is a team of parishioners dedicated to activating the healing power of prayer through participating in intercessory prayers for members and friends of our congregation.
Parishioners who volunteer for the Meal Ministry prepare and deliver meals to our community members and their families in times of celebration and need.
|Children & Youth Ministry|
Working with Children and Youth is an important (and fun!) role at St. Stephen's. Volunteers are critical to our ability to provide programs. Visit the Family Ministry page for more details!
