There are many ways for everyone to be involved in Serving Ministries at St. Stephen's. These opportunities range from serving on the altar during worship to mentoring a homeless family or driving donated goods to the local food shelf. When you take part in one or more of these activities, you are answering God's call to love and serve one another. We pray you will join us in serving others and growing in community and fellowship. Outreach Ministry
The Outreach Ministry of St. Stephen's exists to answer the call of Christ by recognizing and alleviating human needs beyond the doors of our parish.
Inreach Ministry keeps the spiritual life of our parish vital and uplifting. No matter what your skills, we have programs that need volunteers with your talents.
Outreach Ministry at St. Stephen's is primarily funded through The Johnny Appleseed Bash.
Johnny Appleseed Bash ~ An annual family fun carnival held in Utley Park across the street from the church. Check back for details about our fall 2010 event.
Outreach Committee ~ The mission of the Outreach Committee is to recognize and alleviate human needs beyond the doors or our Parish at local, national, and international levels. The committee determines which outreach opportunities are appropriate for St. Stephen's participation and financial support. The committee puts emphasis on projects with significant parishioner interest and "hands on" participation. Grant applications are being accepted now - deadline is September 1.
