What is TEC?
Tec is a non-denominational 3-day weekend for all high school students -- whether you go to church or not!
The weekend is based on a series of talks and small group discussion. TEC offers opportunities for both new participants ("candidates") and returning veterans to learn and grow in Jesus Christ. The atmosphere of the weekend makes it easy to develop new friendships and experience being part of a loving and supportive faith community. It's three days of worship, wonderful contemporary Christian music, prayer, great food, fun and fellowship, led by a team of over 90 teens and adults.
What Happens at TEC?
You will arrive bright and early on Friday morning where you will be greeted by your hosts for the weekend - a team made up of youth, adults and a spiritual director.
Throughout the weekend you will hear a variety of talks by students just like you who will share their struggles and give insight into have they are incorporating faith into their every day lives. The talk include topics such as - "Who am I in relation to God", "God is Love", "Being an Apostle", and "Need for Community".
There are some surprises at TEC too! They add great excitement and inspiration to the weekend.
Who May Attend TEC?
High school students, grades 10-12, may attend the weekend. The first time you attend TEC you will go through as a "candidate". After that, you may apply to be on the "team" that puts the weekend together for the new group of candidates.
How do I Sign Up for TEC?
Fill out a form! Be sure to fill out your form as soon as possible as candidate and team spaces fill up quickly.
