We have an active and involved lay leadership team who work closely with our staff and clergy. The Vestry is the governing body of the parish, and delegates specific advisory responsibilities to three committees – the Finance Committee, the St. Stephen’s Fund Committee and the Outreach/ Mission Committee.

Leaders are elected by the Parish at our Annual Meeting in January.

The Vestry transacts all temporal business of the Parish, collects and disburses all money due for Church purposes, and sees that all things needful for the public services are furnished.

The Vestry consists of the Rector, Associate Rector, the officers of the Parish, nine voting Vestry persons, and two non-voting members (one returning Vestry person, and one Youth Representative).

The Finance Committee has responsibility and authority to review monthly financial statements, assist in the preparation of the annual operating budget and three-year strategic budget, secure an annual audit or review, review accounting and record-keeping procedures, review capital project budgets and review insurance coverage.

The Treasurer, Dave Holmberg, heads this Committee.

The St. Stephen’s Fund Committee oversees the endowment fund for the Parish, and encourages and honors those who contribute to ensure the long-term financial health of the Parish.

This Committee oversees the raising of funds to support the outreach and service ministries of the Parish, identifies and provides grants to ministries, and publicizes opportunities for parishioners to serve.
