One or two hours of your time can make a big difference in the community of the church or in the community that surrounds the church. It can be something as simple as helping out in the parish office or teaching children on Sunday mornings or preparing food for a special event at St. Stephen’s. It might take the form of volunteering at a local school or providing music for a nursing home or participating in an outreach project.

Are You A Techie?
Technology and information management tools are a critical part of providing excellent programs and communications to our parish. We are actively recruiting technology-savvy parishioners to share their talents through a newly-formed Technology Advisory Group. Our goal is to have the group weigh in on an ad hoc basis to help St. Stephens develop an overall technology management plan as well as improve utilization of its website, intranet, internet, database, desk top tools and church management software (ACS).
We need your input and advice if you have experience in one or all of the following areas:
- Business Process and Systems Analysis
- Design, Conversion and Implementation
- Training and Support
- Data and Systems Security, Management and Continuity
- Reporting and Business Intelligence
If you are interested in being a resource for the Technology Advisory Group please contact Brian Ostenso at seniorwarden@ststephens.com.
If you have questions about volunteering at St. Stephen’s or in the surrounding community, please contact Dave Sheldon, Minister of Families and Vocation.
If you’re not sure where your gifts would best be used or what those gifts might be, consider taking this short course on vocational discernment.
