REST. RELAXATION. RENEWAL.
Scripture tells us that Jesus “often withdrew into the wilderness and prayed.” (Luke 5:16)
Join us this fall for your own time to withdraw to the wilderness at our annual Women’s Retreat. Our theme this year is Permission to Be Imperfect and we are delighted to welcome Rev. Sarah Ciaverri as our special guest. Sarah will serve as our clergy and lead the program portions of the retreat.
We will share worship, conversation, reflection, activities, and fellowship with plenty of time available for doing a little bit of nothing too.
We will return to the Koinonia Retreat Center located this year. Located just 90 minutes from the church, the center is on 120 acres at the north end of Lake Sylvia and consists of shoreline, native prairie, and Minnesota Big Woods. We have space for 43 overnight guests and we need 30 guests to meet the Center’s minimum. The retreat is open to all, so feel free to invite family and friends!
The retreat will begin on Friday, October 26 with a social hour from 5:00-6:00 pm. Check-in begins at 4:00 pm. Dinner will be served at 6:00 pm and we will then begin our retreat program. The retreat will end by 5:00 pm on Saturday, October 27.
The cost for the retreat includes lodging, activities, and meals.
$100 for an overnight stay in a shared room
$125 for an overnight stay in a single room (rooms are very limited; first come, first serve)
$50 for Saturday only
