Women’s Retreat

Wholly Beloved

A day to learn and practice habits of radical love.

ABOUT THE RETREAT          Register for the retreat

Jesus says, “As the Father has loved me, so I have loved you. Now abide in my love.” (John 15:9)
What does it mean to know ourselves as God’s beloved? How do we practice abiding in love? God’s love for us is a cornerstone of our faith that most of us understand in a general and theoretical way. We find it hard to open our hearts to this truth for ourselves, to believe ourselves beloved with particularity, to feel precious in a world where we are defined by our striving and imperfection. Together we will learn ways we can practice radical self-love and give ourselves permission to be imperfect. Embracing our whole selves as Beloved puts us on a path to practicing radical love for the world.

Come explore –

– Radical Self-Acceptance
– Radical Self-Compassion
– Radical Resilience

Our retreat will be led by our Assistant Rector, The Rev. Amelia Arthur, and The Rev. Sarah Ciavarri. Amelia and Sarah will share the day with us leading a mixture of worship, large group discussion, small group discussion, and personal reflection. Learn more about Sarah here.
