What to Bring

  • Yoga mat – If you desire extra padding consider bringing an extra mat or a garden kneeling pad
  • Large towel or blanket  – for extra support and comfort
  • 1-2 Yoga blocks (not required)

Open Space Yoga is a weekly opportunity to join with others to start, restart or deepen your yoga practice. Taught by parishioner and yoga instructor, Patrice McFarlane, this weekly class is open to yogis of all levels of experience. Expect to flow through a steady and thoughtful yoga practice to promote the physical benefits of yoga including increased flexibility, strength, balance, and respiration while making peace with stillness to leave you calm and centered. In this Vinyasa-style class, you will be compassionately challenged and uplifted while deepening your connection with body, mind, and breath.

About Our Teacher – Patrice McFarlane, RYT 200

Patrice combines her lifetime love of movement with her passion for wellness and service to others as a yoga teacher and owner of Open Space Studio. She offers classes suitable for all experience levels and encourages a sense of exploration and acceptance on the mat.  Her clear and informational style makes her classes a welcoming place for all students. Her mission is to help people discover better health and mindful restoration through an emphasis on physical alignment, intentional breathing, and meditation.

Patrice holds several teacher certifications through Yoga Alliance and BarreAbove. A former HR Consultant, she appreciates helping others discover, grow and achieve their goals and aspirations.

Patrice loves music which she often incorporates into her classes and is currently learning to sail on the beautiful lakes of Minnesota.
