Programs Designed with Kids and Families in Mind. The mission of St Stephen’s Children’s Ministry is to empower children and their families to know and follow the way of Jesus in their daily lives. We are a multi-generational learning community helping kids explore and experience Jesus’ way of love, belonging, and serving with others in order to grow in faith and bring these gifts to the world.
Currently, our community is primarily meeting virtually with the exception of small in-person outdoor gatherings. Our mission for our ministry hasn’t changed and we hope that your family will join us as we continue to grow in faith together while we are physically apart.
CHILDREN’S CHAPEL (Pre-School – Grade 5)
Sundays | YouTube
Meet up with Missy in our virtual Children’s Chapel on YouTube! In Children’s Chapel, we develop a routine of worship that is age-appropriate and fun. The routine includes gathering, learning the seasons of the church year, prayer, singing, and engaging with the same scripture that is heard in our online Sunday worship services. New Children’s Chapel videos are available each Sunday and you may access them, along with past videos on our YouTube channel.
QUEST (Kindergarten – Grade 5)
Wednesdays | ZOOM**
6:30-7:15 PM Age Group 1: Kindergarten-Grade
7:15-8:00 PM Age Group 2: Grades 3-5
This year Quest will take us through four questions. Who are we? Who is God? Who is Jesus? How can we pray? We will explore the questions through stories, prayer, and a variety of activities. Quest meets on ZOOM on Wednesday nights.
** About ZOOM Security & Links to Children’s Ministry Gatherings
You may have heard of a trend called “Zoombombing” in which people interfere with ZOOM calls for the purpose of spreading hateful or threatening messages. To minimize this risk for our community, we’ve taken steps to secure our ZOOM gatherings. We no longer post links to ZOOM gathering publically. Instead, we share this information via email only.
We’d love your family to join us for this and other ZOOM gatherings held by our community. If you are not on our email list, join our list here.
