On this most solemn of days, we fix our gaze on the cross. The Good Friday liturgy is a continuation of the Maundy Thursday rite. We’ll observe the Passion of Jesus Christ: the story of his arrest, torture, and crucifixion. It is a dark day but is integral to our Christian story because it leads to The First Easter Service.
