Senior Fellowship Luncheon

Speaker: : Lori Sturdevant

Friendship, Faith, and Lifelong Learning

Join us for the first Senior Fellowship Luncheon of the fall as we welcome back Lori Sturdevant, longtime Minnesota journalist, author, and familiar guest at St. Stephen’s Senior Fellowship. Lori has joined us twice before, most recently in 2016, and we’re delighted to welcome her back a decade later.

Lori spent more than 45 years covering Minnesota politics and government as an editorial writer and columnist for the Star Tribune. At our September gathering, she’ll share insights from her most recent book, Martin Sabo: The Making of the Modern Legislature, with a special focus on what Sabo’s story can teach us about politics and public life in 2026.

A Minnesota Book Award-winning author, Lori has written or co-written 12 books focused on notable Minnesotans and Minnesota history. Her programs are always engaging, thoughtful, and informative, and we look forward to another timely and interesting conversation.

The luncheon menu will include gluten-free and vegetarian options.
