Enrich your Lenten season by joining us in a book study when we’ll read, Wondrous Encounters: Scripture for Lent by Richard Rohr.

The journey through Lent into Easter is a journey with Jesus. In his book, Father Rohr guides us through this walk, offering a daily meditation with a single title or phrase followed by key passages from the readings. He ends each meditation with a Starter Prayer that invites you to self-disclosure and to “enter the wondrous divine dialogue with clarity, insight—and holy desire!”

HOW THE STUDY WILL WORK

Each participant will purchase their book and follow the daily mediations on their own through the season of Lent. You will find purchase options for print, digital, or audio versions of the book on Amazon.

We will gather for two Meet-Ups, led by The Rev. Christy Stang, during the Lenten season to share our experiences and learnings from using the daily meditations found in the book.

The Meet-Up will be held on Sundays, February 25 and March 17, from 11:30 AM to 12:30 PM in the Chapel and on ZOOM.

You do not need to attend the Meet-Ups to participate in the study.
