Lenten Quiet Day is a reflective day of prayer, meditation, and contemplation.
The Rev. Christy Stang will lead the day accompanied by Jan Bros, an affiliate of the Episcopal House of Prayer, and parishioner and retired clergy, The Rev. Nate Castens.
A Quiet Day is a time set aside for stillness and opportunities to quiet the mind to listen more closely to God amid the noise of the outer world. The day will include communal prayer and quiet solitary time during which participants may walk the indoor labyrinth or find a quiet area of the church for reading, journaling, or silent reflection. We will conclude our time together in worship with the Holy Eucharist.
Come be introduced to new forms of prayer and reflection or deepen practices you may already use to sustain you in this life. All are welcome.
There is no cost for the quiet day.
