St. Stephen’s Children’s and Youth Ministries aim to provide families with a clear and continuous path for learning and spiritual growth, creating and strengthening a life of Christian faith from infancy into adulthood.
Our Children’s Ministry is all about kids and families growing in faith together. Our mission is to help children – and the adults who love them – learn to follow Jesus in everyday life. As a multigenerational community, we create spaces where kids can explore Jesus’ way of love, discover a sense of belonging, and practice serving others, so they can share God’s gifts with the world.

NURSERY CARE
Sundays: 9:30-11:30 AM
Ages: Birth – age 3
Joyful care for little ones.
Children are always welcome in worship, but for parents who would like some time to focus during the service, we also offer Sunday morning nursery care. Our professional staff provide a safe and engaging space with age-appropriate books, toys, puzzles, and more, so little ones can play and explore while parents participate in worship.
CHILDREN’S CHAPEL
Sundays: 10:15 AM
Ages: Potty-trained 3 year olds – Grade 3
Sacred moments, child-sized.
Sunday Children’s Chapel is worship just for kids! We pray, hear Bible stories, and share a ritual of water that connects us to baptism. Kids join their families in the main service at The Peace in time for Communion.
QUEST KIDS’ PROGRAM
Wednesdays: 6:30-7:30 PM
Ages: Kindergarten – Grade 5
Discovering God’s love, one quest at a time.
After our Community Dinner, kids can embark on a quest to discover what it means to have faith in God, learn from Jesus, and belong to a loving community. Through age-appropriate storytelling, prayer, and fun hands-on activities, we explore Bible stories in ways that are meaningful and exciting for children.

There’s always something exciting happening for children and families with St. Stephen’s! From Vacation Bible School to overnight events and other delightful surprises, our special events create space for kids to develop their faith, foster friendships, and enjoy themselves. Additionally, we organize family gatherings that allow parents to connect with one another while children participate in fun and engaging activities.

Our children’s programs wouldn’t be possible without the support of caring volunteers like you! We’re looking for adults of all ages to share their time, energy, and heart with our kids—helping them grow in faith, have fun, and feel loved.
