7:00–8:00 PM • Lessons & Carols
Experience the beloved tradition of Lessons & Carols worship – where timeless scripture and sacred music illuminate the story of God’s love from creation to Christ’s birth. Through the poetic language of Holy Scripture, interwoven with the beautiful music of the season, we journey from Adam and Eve to the manger in Bethlehem, hearing again the story of God’s faithfulness revealed in Christ.
The service will begin as the Parish Choir surrounds the congregation and we all sing Creator of the Stars of Night. Then, through readings of the Advent story and beautiful music – including works by Ola Gjeilo, Sergei Rachmaninoff, Ennio Morricone, and more – we will await the birth of Jesus with wonder and expectation.
No ticket is required to attend the Lessons & Carols service.
We hope you’ll join us for this heartfelt evening of food, fellowship, scripture, and music that ushers us deeper into the wonder of the season.
