2nd Saturday Women’s Gathering

2nd Saturday Women’s Gathering

Sharing Life, Deepening Faith

Our February gathering features parishioner Katie Fachant, who will share her experience of Walking the Camino de Santiago – a centuries-old pilgrimage that has drawn seekers, pilgrims, and adventurers for more than a thousand years.

The Camino de Santiago is a network of ancient routes leading to Santiago de Compostela, where tradition holds that the remains of St. James are buried. For over a millennium, pilgrims have walked the Camino as an act of faith, reflection, gratitude, and discernment. Today, people from around the world continue the journey – each for their own reasons, yet connected by the shared rhythm of the road.

Katie will reflect on her walk across Spain and explore questions that shaped her journey, including Who is St. James? and why was I drawn to this particular pilgrimage? Along the way, she’ll share her personal story.

Whether you’re curious about pilgrimage, drawn to stories of spiritual journeying, or simply enjoy hearing how faith takes shape in real life, this promises to be a meaningful and engaging morning of conversation and community.

All women – and their friends – are invited!
