Join us for Adult Forum as we welcome The Rev. Dr. Blair Pogue, Canon for Innovation and Vitality for the Episcopal Church in Minnesota (ECMN).
As a leader focused on cultivating new expressions of church alongside long-established congregations, Blair brings both theological depth and practical insight to the question many churches are asking today: How is God inviting us to grow and adapt in this season? She is co-author of Embracing the Mixed Ecology: Inherited and New Forms of Christian Community Flourishing Together, which explores how traditional and emerging forms of Christian community can thrive side by side.
Sharing Friendship and Faith with Our Neighbors
Throughout Minnesota Episcopalians have been listening to, loving, and forming community with their neighbors where they live, work, find meaning, and play. They are also learning how to share their faith in Jesus and his way of love with those who are spiritually curious. This is critical because increasing numbers of people in our state and country are growing up outside the institutional church. In her presentation Blair will share stories of some of the ways Episcopalians are joining up with neighbors in a variety of spaces, providing pathways into deeper relationships and life in Christian community.
Come for thoughtful reflection, fresh ideas, and engaging conversation about innovation, vitality, and the future of the Church. Coffee and treats provided. All are welcome.
