Zero Waste for Humanity: Compass Annual Creation Care Forum
As we wrap up our Compass year, join us for a thought-provoking and timely conversation on creation care and human dignity.
Humanity’s call to care for Creation brings us face-to-face with a difficult truth: the growing reality of waste—especially the damaging effects of overconsumption on our planet. But there is another kind of waste we must reckon with as well—the waste of human lives and dignity.
What might it mean to live into a vision of “zero waste” that honors both Creation and every person?
Drawing on Scripture and faithful reflection, this session invites us to consider how God’s call to stewardship extends beyond the environment and into the way we value and care for one another.
Join leader Joyce Denham us for the conclusion to our Compass season – featuring rich conversation, fresh perspective, coffee, and treats.
ABOUT COMPASS ADULT FORMATION
Compass, led by Joyce Denham, is our Sunday morning Adult Formation class in which we study the literature of the Bible as our compass for life. Compass is for everyone at St. Stephen’s, and beyond. Invite others! It’s a place to make friends, laugh, and stretch our minds, as Joyce unravels the narratives and poetry of the Bible to discover what they have to say to us today. No registration is needed.
