Good Courage Farm is bringing its summer berry harvest to St. Stephen’s for a joyful afternoon and evening of jam-making, music, and community—and you’re invited!
Join the Good Courage team as they transform fresh-picked fruit from their farm into homemade jam to share with food ministry partners – including Casa Maria and First Nations Kitchen. Along the way, you’ll learn the art and science of canning and lend a hand with every step of the process. No experience is necessary—we’ll teach you everything you need to know.
This event is open St. Stephen’s and other parishes, making it a wonderful opportunity to meet new people while working side-by-side for a shared purpose.
As the jam simmers, so will the music. We’ll learn some simple songs of hope and gratitude as everyone joins in singing while we work, making this a true “Jam Session” in every sense of the word. You’ll even head home with a half-pint of fresh currant jam to enjoy or share with a friend.
Choose the shift that works best for you—or stay for both!
