St. Stephen’s Launches New Concert Series

St. Stephen’s rich history of excellence in Music Ministry is a cornerstone of our parish. Each year, our worship is enhanced by a wide variety of musical styles from traditional Anglican to Gospel, Jazz, Classical, Dixieland, and beyond. Whether by our parish musicians or professional guest artists, our lives are inspired by their joyful noises made to the glory of God.

As we look to the future of our Music Ministry, we are excited to open our doors even wider to the vibrant community of artists and music lovers in the Twin Cities through a new series — Concerts by the Creek.

This series will feature a range of artists across musical genres providing world-class performances in a welcoming environment. Several concerts will be offered each year and performances will be free of charge thanks to sponsorship by the Matson Music Fund. Concerts may be followed by a reception providing a unique opportunity to meet and engage with the musicians.

You are warmly invited to attend these concerts and we hope you will share this new opportunity as we welcome our broader community to St. Stephen’s.

SUPPORTING THE MUSIC SERIES

It will take many hands and a variety of roles to make the series a success. Whether you’d like to be a greeter, have skills with event logistics, or want to help with receptions, we’d love to have YOU on the team! Contact us at concertsbythecreek@ststephens.com and we’ll be in touch.
