The Season of Christmas begins on December 25th and ends on January 5th, the eve of the Feast of the Epiphany. The liturgical color of the season is white, which is often complemented with gold. The color white represents joy and light.

CHRISTMAS EVE WORSHIP
These joyous services will include the reading of the beloved Christmas scripture, numerous favorite Christmas hymns, and music from our choirs, orchestra, and special guest musicians. Each service ends with the singing of Silent Night by candlelight as we share the light of Christ.
FAMILY WORSHIP & CHRISTMAS PAGEANT

The Nativity comes to life as the children of St. Stephen’s share the story of Christ’s birth through our annual Christmas Pageant. This joyful service of Holy Eucharist includes music and the decorating of our parish Christmas tree. Please note that this service is our largest so plan to arrive early to secure a seat. Overflow seating and simulcast of the service will be in the Chapel; Nursery care will be available.

We honor Christ’s birth with Holy Eucharist, readings from the Holy Scriptures, beloved hymns, and music by our Parish Choir, along with guest trumpet player Ryan Stransky and members of the St. Stephen’s Instrumental Ensemble. We celebrate Christ’s birth with Holy Eucharist, readings from Holy Scripture, favorite hymns, and music from guest trumpet player, Ryan Stransky. In addition, we will have an opportunity for a wonderful Congregational Sign-Along. Singers of all ages and experiences levels are invited to participate. Simply come up during the service and join with members of our Parish Choir to sing a beautiful version of In The Bleak Midwinter.
CANDLELIGHT HOLY EUCHARIST

We are pleased to welcome gifted harpist Rhonda Grobe back to our 11:00 PM candlelight service. Rhonda will share a beautiful prelude beginning at 10:30 PM as well as music during worship.
