Festive Worship for Christmas Eve

Festive Worship for Christmas Eve

Come and celebrate the arrival of the Christ Child with us on this sacred night. In one of the most cherished services of the year, we proclaim the Light revealed to us on this holy evening.

We honor Christ’s birth with Holy Eucharist, readings from the Holy Scriptures, beloved hymns, and music by our Parish Choir, along with guest trumpet player Ryan Stransky and members of the St. Stephen’s Instrumental Ensemble.

Bring your loved ones of all ages to welcome the Holy Family and join us in person, or tune in live on our YouTube channel.

Nursery care will be provided for children from birth to age 3 during this service.

Dr. Ryan Stransky is currently serving as Assistant Professor of Music, Brass Area Coordinator at Alcorn State University in Lorman, Mississippi. Dr. Stransky completed his DMA in Trumpet Performance at the University of Southern California, MM in Trumpet Performance from Temple University, and BM in Trumpet Performance from the University of Minnesota. During his time at the University of Minnesota, Dr. Stransky could be found each weekend as a member of the St. Stephens Episcopal Church Music Ministry from 2013-2016. He is thankful and blessed to have been part of the amazing community and family at St. Stephens, and is joyful to be back for the Christmas Season.
