Come & See Newcomer Series – Part 2

Come & See Newcomer Series – Part 2

Exploring Episcopal faith and life with St. Stephen’s Church.

New to St. Stephen’s? New to the Episcopal Church? Or maybe both? Come & See is a two-part series created especially for newcomers who would like to learn more about our Episcopal faith and what it means to be part of the St. Stephen’s community.

Join The Revs. Tom Cook and Christy Stang for two informal and engaging Sunday morning conversations. Bring your questions and your curiosity—there are no prerequisites, no expectations and definitely no papers due!

PART ONE // THE EPISCOPAL CHURCH

Sunday, September 20 // 9:00 AM

What exactly is an Episcopalian?

We’ll explore some of the things that shape our Episcopal identity—our beliefs, worship, traditions and Anglican heritage—and talk about what makes the Episcopal Church distinctive.

Whether the Episcopal Church is completely new to you or you simply want to better understand the tradition you’ve recently joined, this is a great place to begin.

PART TWO // LIFE WITH ST. STEPHEN’S CHURCH

Sunday, September 27 // 9:00 AM

How do we live out our Episcopal faith together?

For our second conversation, we’ll bring things closer to home and explore how our faith takes shape through worship, formation, fellowship, outreach, service and care for one another. You’ll learn more about the St. Stephen’s community, the many ways people connect and participate, and where you might find opportunities to be fed, grow, serve and belong.

We hope you’ll join us for both sessions!

Please RSVP so we can plan for food and have plenty of room around the table. We look forward to welcoming you!
