How to Pray Like Jesus: A 4-Part Lenten Series
Jesus’ disciples once asked him, “Can you teach us how to pray?” “Yes,” he answered, “Pray like this . . . ” The model prayer he gave them is what we call The Lord’s Prayer. We recite it weekly, sometimes daily. But we don’t always peel back its layers to find out the profound meanings lying beneath its surface.
Join us this Lent at Compass when we’ll examine The Lord’s Prayer. Why did Jesus tell us to say these particular words? Why in this order? And what do they mean for 21st-century Jesus followers?
Watch the weekly announcements for more details on each upcoming Compass session. This series is open to everyone at St. Stephen’s Church and beyond.
Can’t join us in person on Sunday mornings? Compass is offered live on ZOOM. Sign up for our weekly emails to receive the ZOOM link and links to video replays of each session.
