Finding God in Everyday Life

Finding God in Everyday Life

A Half-Day Retreat with the Brothers of SSJE

Prayer is the heartbeat of our relationship with God in Christ. Yet building a regular rhythm of prayer can be deeply challenging amid the demands and distractions of contemporary life.

During this half-day retreat, Brothers Keith and Jack of the Society of St. John the Evangelist (SSJE) will share practical wisdom for weaving the practice of prayer into the whole of life. Whether you have an established prayer practice, are looking to renew one, or simply wonder how to make more room for God in the everyday, this morning offers space to step away from the usual pace of life, listen, learn, and pray.

Beverages and a light continental breakfast will be provided.

The retreat is offered free of charge thanks to a generous gift left to St. Stephen’s Church by Jim Schwarz to support Adult Formation.
