Supporting Casa Maria – A Ministry of Welcome & Care

Many in our parish have asked how they can support Casa Maria, a ministry of St. Nicholas Episcopal Church, during these challenging times for our city. Here are several meaningful ways to help right now:

1) Donate Food & Essentials
Casa Maria is quickly adapting to serve more families and welcomes donations:

  • Tuesdays: 10:00 AM–3:00 PM

  • Saturdays: 2:30–3:00 PM

A current list of needed items is available here

2) Give Financially
Financial gifts allow Casa Maria to respond flexibly to urgent needs.

3) Volunteer as a Delivery Driver
Casa Maria is seeking volunteer drivers in the coming weeks to help deliver groceries and household necessities to families. If you’re interested, please contact Carol Hedberg, Outreach Committee Chair.

4) Bring Donations to Worship at St. Nicholas
Parishioners planning to attend worship at St. Nicholas on Sunday, February 8, when our Parish Choir is singing, are invited to bring NON-PERISHABLE food items (no eggs, milk, meat, etc.) from the Casa Maria needs list. Donations may be brought directly to worship that morning
