Vista 44, the latest affordable housing development by our outreach partners at Beacon Interfaith Housing Collaborative, is set to welcome residents in June! Join us this summer as we assist these families in establishing new homes in Hopkins.
The Vista 44 complex comprises 50 one, two, and three-bedroom apartments. Situated near downtown Hopkins, bus and upcoming light rail lines, healthcare facilities, parks, and other essential amenities, it offers everything families need to thrive. In addition to the housing, residents will have access to vital supportive services from Volunteers of America to help them achieve stability and build a brighter future for their families. St. Stephen’s, alongside various congregational partners, is uniting to warmly welcome these families to their new homes! Since many families will arrive without basic necessities such as kitchen/cooking supplies and bedding, we aim to provide these items through a joint-congregation donation drive, with St. Stephen’s focusing on kitchen essentials.
You can easily take part in this drive in two ways:
- Buy items from the Amazon Wish List, they will be sent to St. Stephen’s Church and then delivered to Vista 44.
- Get $50 Target gift cards to purchase groceries for new residents. You can send the cards by mail or drop them off at the church. Remember to specify that the card is for the Vista 44 Outreach Drive.
New residents of Vista 44 begin moving in this June and we will be bringing items over to the apartments frequently during the drive so feel free to make your donations early!
