Feeding Our Hungry Neighbors

Loaves and Fishes (L&F) have served meals to those in need in our community since 1982 and our parish has served alongside them for over 30 years. People from all across our parish help us prepare, serve, and clean-up L&F dinners 3-4 times each year. This is a great way for families to serve together!

SERVING LOCATION: Woodlake Lutheran Church (2120 76th Street West, Richfield)

TIME COMMITMENT: There are several “shifts” available; none of which require more than 2 hours of time.

ROLES:

• Meal Preparation: 2 hours; no prior cooking experience necessary; an on-site chef guides the entire process. CHILDREN/YOUTH: Ages 13+
• Serving & Clean-up: 2 hours; serving is easy and clean-up is a snap with well-organized direction and an on-site dishwasher. CHILDREN/YOUTH: Great for kids age 6+; must be accompanied by a parent.
