Music

At St. Stephen’s we recognize that music enhances our worship in ways that words alone can’t. We have a very long, rich and varied tradition of musical styles and we keep that traditional alive today!

Enjoy instrumental and choral music, of varying genres, at each of our Sunday worship services. We are offer music at special services and performances throughout the year. Whether you want to listen, or you want to participate in music programs, St. Stephen’s provides a variety of opportunities.

The Parish Choir adds depth to our worship services and special performances throughout the year. This choir will often be heard singing beautiful traditional music by John Rutter and Beethoven but it also features challenging contemporary spins on tradition pieces, as well as, new works from composers such as Dan Forrest and Karl Jenkins.

Our hand bell choir, The Creekside Ringers, brings a festival experience to our worship once a month and on special holidays.

Music at 11:15 AM Worship

The Gospel Choir and Gospel Jazz Combo bless our worship-goers with the lively spirit-filled music. You will hear uplifting and powerful spirituals from the likes of Moses Hogan and the Brooklyn Tabernacle Choir. You will also experience traditional hymns in styles from jazz to World Music and everything in between.
