Here you will find quick facts on climate change including information specific to Minnesota, advice on practical steps you can take to contribute to environmental sustainability and fun events you and your family can participate in.

CREATION CARE WELCOMES NEW MEMBERS

You can make a difference. With the retreat of the federal government, steps to increase sustainability by states, cities, companies and yes, individuals are more important than ever.

Creation Care meets once a month on the third Monday of the month.

WHERE WE ARE – UN Climate Report, September 2026

THEN – In 2015 more than 200 countries signed the Paris Agreement committing their nations to adopt policies to limit global temperature increases to 1.5 C. above pre-industrial levels

NOW – Global temperatures are set to cross the 1.5 C limit in a few years [and already cross it in a number of places on the planet.]. The November, 2026 UN Climate Change Conference, COP31, will pursue further mitigation strategies and development of a “Just Transition Mechanism”.

The US withdrawal from the Paris Agreement took effect January 2026.
