Keeping Faith, Looking Ahead. Together.

The Second Century Campaign

For nearly 90 years, St. Stephen’s Church has been a place where faith takes root and is nurtured, relationships flourish, and lives are transformed. As we look ahead to our next century, we are preparing our church home to be more welcoming, accessible, and ready to serve generations to come.

This is more than a building project – it is how we are responding, together, to God’s call for the future of our parish.

A Season of Invitation

There is a place for you in this story.

From the very beginning of this campaign, we have chosen a path rooted in openness, relationship, and shared discernment. Rather than waiting for a single moment to “go public,” we have been inviting conversation all along – listening, learning, and growing together as a parish.

Now, we are entering a new season – one when we are widening that invitation and creating space for everyone to engage more deeply.

Whether you are just beginning to learn about the campaign or have been part of it from the start, this is your invitation to join us.

The invitation is open – and it includes you.

Why We’re Part of This Story

Stories of connection, belonging, and hope for the future.

At the heart of this campaign are the people of St. Stephen’s Church — the relationships, moments, and experiences that have shaped our lives and faith.

In these video stories, parishioners share what St. Stephen’s has meant to them and why they’re choosing to support Keeping Faith, Looking Ahead: The Second Century Campaign. Each reflection is personal, but together they tell a larger story of hope, belonging, and a shared commitment to the future of our parish community.

Each reflection is part of a larger story—one we are writing together.

Our Vision & Why It Matters

Every week, St. Stephen’s is filled with life – worship, music, children and youth formation, outreach ministries, and gatherings that bring people together in meaningful ways.

For nearly 90 years, this church has been a spiritual home rooted in connection, care, and shared faith. As we approach our centennial, we are called to prepare that home for the next generation.

But after decades of faithful use, our buildings no longer fully support the life and ministry already unfolding within our walls.

This campaign is about removing those barriers—and creating spaces that reflect our deepest values. We imagine a St. Stephen’s that reflects the vitality and joy we experience today:

  • A place where all are truly welcome
  • A campus that is fully accessible and easy to navigate
  • Spaces that foster connection, hospitality, and community
  • A church home that supports vibrant ministry for all ages

Through the Second Century Campaign, we are preparing St. Stephen’s to remain a place of hope, worship, and belonging for generations to come.
