April Creation Care Events

Friday, March 24, 2023

In February we shared the work of a group of St. Stephen’s parishioners gathering to exchange ideas on how we, as individuals and as a parish, might live into our faith through caring for God’s creation. As we begin the spring season of renewal and draw closer to Earth Week (April 16-22), this active group is excited to invite the entire community into the conversation through a series of special events. Mark your calendars now!

THE BIBLE & THE EARTH, a Compass Series

Sundays, April 16th & 30th at 9:00 AM
We all know that taking care of the earth is something we should do. But it’s more than just a “feeling.” The Bible tells us much about our innate drive to tend the creation—revealing that it’s an integral part of being human. Join us for this special Compass adult formation series to learn more.

CREATION CARE FAIR

Sunday, April 23rd at 9:00 and 11:15 AM
There’s so much information flying at us about climate change and all of the ways we can take steps in our lives to help care for the Earth. Can your actions really impact the planet? Which actions are right for you? How do you get started? Get some insights and advice at our Creation Care Fair! Parishioners from across the parish will share their stories along with tips and concrete actions YOU CAN TAKE to make a difference.
