Bash Auction Site FAQs

The Bash After Dark auction site is so much more than an online auction! Not only can you bid on all of our online auction items but you can purchase Buy Now items as well as Bash Game and Raffle tickets. Here are a few of the most frequently asked questions and answers to help make your experience the best it can be. Did we miss a question? How do I access the online auction site?

Do I have to register for the auction site?

If you’ve bid in previous Bash auctions then you are already signed up for this site. If you’ve never bid before, you’ll be prompted to register for the site the first time you try to bid or purchase a ticket. You do not need to register to view auction items

How do the WINE and GIFT CARD PULL GAMES work?

Purchase $25 Gift Card Pull or $25/$50 Wine Pull tickets on the auction site. You do not need to be present at the live event to play this game. On the night of the live event, attendees will receive their tickets, visit the Pull Game Table, and select a wrapped bottle of wine or gift card. You are guaranteed to win an item AT LEAST the same value as the ticket you purchased but you can win one worth much more! If you do not attend the event, we will pull your item for you and let you know what you’ve won.

How does the RAFFLE work?

We have seven great Raffle items this year and you may purchase tickets online or at the live event for $10 each. You do not need to be present at the live event to enter the raffles. When purchasing online, purchase as many tickets as you want for the individual raffle items you’d like to win. We will then include your purchased tickets in the raffle and the drawing will take place the night of the live event. If you are a winner, we’ll contact you!

Some items on the site are marked “Live Event Item,” what does this mean?
This means that bidding for this item will be at the Live Event on Saturday, October 7 only.

  • LIVE AUCTION PROXY BIDDING
    If you are unable to attend the event and would like to bid on one of these items, you may either bid through a proxy of your choosing (friend/family member) who is attending the event or contact Molly Reichard at mreichard@ststephens.com with the highest bid amount you are willing to bid for the item and she will bid as your proxy.

How do the BUY NOW items work?

Buy Now items are limited availability offerings such as the Priestly Pies (only 10 available!), event tickets for special events like the Children’s Mad Hatter Tea Party, or one-of-a-kind handmade items. When you see a Buy Now item you’d like, get it fast before someone else grabs it!

How do I pay for items I’ve purchased or won on the site?

Immediate sale items such as Buy Now, or Pull Game Tickets, or Raffle Tickets may be purchased at the time of sale using a credit card. If you are the winner of one of our online auction items, you will receive and email at the close of the auction indicating you’ve won. In this email, there will be a button to click to pay for your items by credit card.

How do I get the items I’ve won?

Each item on the auction site has a note in the description which reads “ITEM RECEIPT.” This will tell you how each individual item will be collected if won. This varies by item.
