Join us this spring as we help restock Dale’s Closet to support the new residents of 66 West Apartments!
Our parish has been a part of 66 West, developed by our outreach partners at Beacon Interfaith Housing Collaborative, since before its groundbreaking in 2015. The apartments provide high-quality, permanent housing with services for 39 young adults, ages 18-24, who are experiencing homelessness.
Dale’s Closet is an on-site place where new residents may select household furnishings as they are welcomed into their new homes. For many of the residents, it’s one of the first times they’ve had the opportunity to shop for their own household items. As the program manager at 66 West states, “We often hear feedback about how happy and thankful new residents are to see all the household items available to set up their new home. ”
Help us restock the closet for new residents this spring by purchasing items off our Amazon Wish list. These items will ship directly to St. Stephen’s Church and will then be delivered to 66 West.
