Join us for an inspiring exploration of the voices of women in the Bible, guided by Rev. Christy, who will provide an overview of their narratives.
Drawing insights from the book Bible Women: All Their Words and Why They Matter, authored by Rev. Lindsay Hardin Freeman — on which Rev. Christy contributed as a researcher, editor, and writer of several prayers — we will delve into important questions: What did these women say? What roles did they play? And why are their contributions significant?
Come enjoy a morning of inspiration and conversation with a side dish of yummy food. All women in the parish are invited and friends are always welcome so feel free to invite one of yours!

ABOUT 2ND SATURDAY WOMEN’S GATHERING
From October – May, women of all ages come together to get to know and support each other while we explore and deepen our faith through listening to great speakers, getting crafty, and serving others. And it won’t be a women’s gathering without great food and lively conversation so you can expect a lot of both. We hope you’ll join us!
