First Nations Kitchen Service Day

First Nations Kitchen Service Day

We’re serving with our partners at First Nations Kitchen (FNK) soon and we’d love you to join us! FNK welcomes their neighbors to a weekly food giveaway every Sunday. Our parish supports this ministry of the All Saints Episcopal Indian Mission in South Minneapolis by helping to prepare, pack up, and give away the food. NO prior experience is needed and families are welcome to serve together!

We have several options for service –

  • 8:00-11:30 AM: Cooking Team (cooks meals)
  • 12:30-3:00 PM: Prep Team (gets meals and produce ready to hand out)
  • 3:30-5:30 PM: Give Away Team (hands out food and cleans up)

FUTURE 2025 SERVICE DATES

May 25
June 29

First Nations Kitchen is primarily a justice-focused, Gospel-based ministry. It intends to provide food to indigenous people who would not otherwise have access to high-quality, fresh organic food in an environment of radical hospitality and cultural empowerment. Our parish is proud to serve on Sunday evenings several times a year.
