Summer Women’s Gathering

Summer Women’s Gathering

Join us for a special summer evening edition of our Women’s Gatherings. Following the pattern of our Saturday morning get-togethers, we’ll start with a light meal provided by attendee volunteers before hearing from our speaker, The Rev. Maryellen Garnier.

Maryellen will share reflections on the Tradition of Anointing the Sick and Dying. She’ll review this unveiling process by describing five aspects of anointing: story, touch, prayer, healing and the reframing of hope. Come enjoy an evening together full of conversation and inspiration, with our usual side dish of yum! All women in the parish are invited and friends are always welcome.

If you choose, join Rev. Christy for our Summer Evening Prayer on the Commons Room patio at 6 PM before attending this gathering.
