White Earth Youth Service Trip

TRIP DATES: Sunday, July 27 – Thursday, July 31

We are excited to be returning to White Earth Reservation this summer for our first youth service trip since the pandemic! We are blessed to collaborate on this trip with St. Columba Episcopal Church in White Earth and The Rev. Jackie Bernacchi, the Vicar of White Earth for the Episcopal Church of Minnesota.

TRIP DETAILS

This trip is open to rising 9th grade students through graduating 12th graders.

We’ll head out on the four hour drive to White Earth after worship services on Sunday, July 27. After settling in and spending time together Sunday night, we’ll spend Monday – Wednesday hosting a VBS-type program for the kids and providing meals for the community. There will also be projects inside and outside the buildings. Wednesday night we’ll enjoy a BBQ dinner hosted by the community. On Thursday morning, we will pack our things and head back home!

OUR LODGING

We have found a fantastic place to stay during our time in White Earth! The Farmhouse at 14 Hands Farm, situated on a Christmas tree farm in Detroit Lakes, is conveniently located less than 20 minutes from St. Columba Episcopal Church. This spacious farmhouse features ample rooms, comfortable beds, a well-equipped kitchen, and, most importantly, three bathrooms!

COST & REGISTRATION

The cost of the trip is $300 which covers transportation, lodging and food. The deadline to register is ASAP!

Use the button to register. Once you have submitted a form, you will receive a confirmation message in which you will find a link to pay the $300 fee for the trip.
