Every year on the first Saturday in May thousands of people around the world participate in World Labyrinth Day as a moving meditation/prayer for world peace and shared appreciation of the labyrinth experience.
ST. STEPHEN’S LABYRINTH OPEN HOUSE
In honor of the day, St. Stephen’s is pleased to welcome everyone to a Labyrinth Open House. Come walk our beautiful outdoor labyrinth which is uniquely situated on the banks of Minnehaha Creek. You’ll find the space provides a naturally peaceful experience for meditation and reflection.
Join us between 1-2 PM during our open house when members of our church who lovingly take care of our labyrinth will be on hand to answer questions and light complimentary refreshments will be available. In the event of inclement weather, we will have our canvas labyrinth available inside the Chapel of our church.
If you are unable to join us during the open house, know that you are always welcome! Our labyrinth is available to you anytime, any day.
HOW TO ACCESS TO THE LABYRINTH
- To access the labyrinth from Wooddale Ave, walk down the hill towards the creek. Walk along the creek and you will spot the labyrinth on our back lawn.
- To access the labyrinth from 50th Street, walk towards the covered path with the iron gates between the church and office buildings. Follow the stairs to the creek and walk to the left.
