First Nations Kitchen (FNK) is led by indigenous people for indigenous people. The FNK Ministry Team leads all aspects of the program on a volunteer-basis without compensation. In addition, FNK enjoys volunteer support from 8 area Episcopal congregations, including St. Stephen’s. The engagement of the partner congregations has evolved as a model for the Episcopal Church in Minnesota which in recent years has collectively discerned a call to engage opportunities for mission in regional settings, combining efforts, gifts, and resources across congregational lines.

FNK is located at All Saints Episcopal Indian Mission in Minneapolis. Throughout the year, St. Stephen’s volunteers at FNK for their Sunday night suppers serving an organic meal, which honors Native American traditions. Our work includes preparing the meal between 1:30 and 4:00, and then serving the meal, cleaning dishes and cleaning up after the meal between 5:00 and 7:30.

This is a great opportunity for the your family to serve together! Sign-Up Today
